About the Haiku category

Now, Haikus are typically very specific types of poems, dealing with certain types of imagery and juxtapositions and are written to give the reader some sense of enlightenment.

We would love to see those here. However, we’re not perfectionists here.

So we’re going to take a more generalized approach and say a haiku is comprised of the following:

Three lines total:
Five syllables in the first line
Seven syllables in the second line.
Five syllables in the third line.

For example.

This is a haiku
It is just about haiku-
Just an example.

Now you are welcome to enlighten everyone as much as you like, but there’s no pressure.
